We are born almost blind, our glasses hurt from too much light and they close on their own. And then, when they open, they begin to change and so on for the rest of their lives. The eyes of old people are dim, because their energy has run out, the life path is coming to an end. And that’s why the most interesting and unusual are the eyes of babies, which burn with their inner light!

Photographer Abdulla Aidemirov, who took these wonderful pictures, lives and works in Istanbul. A city of contrasts, a crossroads of the world, where there are poor neighborhoods and rich ones, where street cats are respected, and where you can meet people of all nationalities. And their children, of course, for which Abdullah’s photo hunt. Because the best, most interesting models are not in the studio, but on the street, you just have to find them!

The photographer himself considers the bright children’s eyes to be something like beacons that should attract the attention of lost and tired souls. Because at a young age everything seems big and interesting, the future excites the imagination, you want to create, move and just live. Hence the mad emission of energy, which lights up the eyes of children. Adults can’t do that anymore, and they don’t want to, but in vain! That is why we need children, as a reminder, as an example of what life is for!

It can be seen that most of the children in the photo are covered in snow, dirty, with scratches and bruises. Because a small child does not know how to sit still and does not pay attention to such trifles. These are real shots from life, the children are not washed, not prepared for filming, and sometimes they even jump in by surprise. That is why the emotions are so sincere, and the light in their eyes is real!
