Graffiti is not always just drawings on the walls. What do you say about the deception of vision and consciousness, when from a certain angle the brain perceives the picture as voluminous and real? This is the calling card of the street artist from Lisbon Sergio Odeith , who started with classic graffiti and as a result received fans all over the world and contracts with Coca-Cola, Samsung and Shell.
Tutka ‘s editors admire talented street art and love high-quality optical illusions. Therefore, we could not pass by such a beautiful sample of both.

Sergio Odeit began his acquaintance with graffiti in the 1990s in his native Lisbon. Like most street artists, at first he created illegally. Later, he became interested in three-dimensional graphics, which he named sombre 3D (“shadow 3D”) technique: composition, perspective, details and shadows created a single realistic picture that seemed to fly in the air in front of the wall.

Many artists who use a similar technique stop at seemingly suspended inscriptions and abstractions. Sergio Odeita also has such works.

But his incredible insects, spiders and story works brought him much greater popularity, when looking at them, the association with entering some kind of virtual reality comes to mind.
