A mother bear with two cubs was moving from one bank of a mountain river to another. The adult animal had enough strength to swim to the opposite shore, but the cubs could not resist the current and were at its mercy. The bear had already climbed ashore, she saw how her babies were carried away by the current, but did not understand what to do to help. Noticed what was happening and the forester, who immediately rushed into the water.

People were fishing very close to the boat, and they came to the aid of the forester in his rescue operation. When the boat approached the cubs, their mother on the shore became very nervous.

“We understood that the she-bear might be afraid for her cubs and swim to the boat, but no one wanted that. With a net that the fishermen had, we pulled one baby out of the water, picked up the second and slowly swam to the shore, pulling him along with us, ”says the forester.

The teddy bear, which they managed to pull on board, was covered by people with their things, the baby was very cold in the water. The second animal was older and larger, so it had to be dragged in tow, fearing that a frightened bear cub would simply capsize the boat.

Slowly, the fishermen brought the boat to the shore, disembarked the kids and waited for the mother to approach them. The bear immediately led the children into the forest.
