Sometimes we read stories about little dogs and that make us very emotional. Unfortunately, sometimes we talk about situations of abandonment of the furbabies and in some cases there is also real mistreatment.

Of situations that we would never like to know about, but which unfortunately do occur. Moonie is a little dog who has gone through a truly terrible experience and who has been the protagonist of a very sad story.

The dog was in very serious condition. It had been abandoned. But luckily there are people who care about the well-being of our four-legged friends and who would do anything to ensure that furbabies have the opportunity to live in a better way, surrounded by love and care.

So let’s see what happened in this story and in what condition poor Moonie was, who had been abandoned and was in a very serious state of health , to face the night alone.

The discovery of Moonie, alone and abandoned

A person who happened to pass by the place where Moonie was immediately noticed the presence of the dog, which was in very poor condition as regards its state of health. For this reason, the passer-by decided to make a report to a volunteer, Suzette Hall , who takes care of the recovery of stray dogs.

It all happened overnight. The volunteer knew very well that the more time passed, the greater the risk would be for the dog , who had been abandoned and was right alone. The puppy needed assistance.

That’s why Suzette decided to leave in her car, but not before grabbing some snacks for the dog. The volunteer, when she arrived at the reporting site, struggled a lot to find the dog, considering that it was very dark and the puppy was in the middle of the local vegetation.

Suzette was able to spot the puppy by the reflection of the dog’s eyes in her flashlight. The volunteer quickly realized that Moonie was not in good health. She had bad hair and was no doubt malnourished. There was only an old dirty jacket covering her puppy .

The happy ending of Moonie’s story

Suzette picked up Moonie and loaded her into her car, taking her to the shelter . Care for her puppy began immediately. Within a short time, thanks to the affection and care that were carried out by the experts, Moonie recovered and found a home to live in .

Even if it was supposed to be a temporary place to welcome the dog for a short time, those who took care of it immediately understood that the affection for this dog was really a lot.
