Baked chips: much better than fried ones but with only 100 calories
Ingredients:
- 5 grams of black pepper
- 5 grams of paprika powder
- 2 potatoes
- To taste fine cooking salt.
You will also need:
- A few ice cubes
- Qb of water
- To taste of olive oil.
The aromas to flavor your potatoes can vary depending on your personal tastes.
Clean the potatoes
Take the potatoes and rinse them under cool running water to remove any soil residues present on them. Pat the potatoes with a piece of absorbent kitchen paper and remove their skin.
With a knife, cut the potatoes into strips.
Rest time
Pour some water into a basin, add ice and dip the potatoes in it. Leave the potatoes to soak for about ten minutes. Once the resting time is over, remove the water and carefully pat all the potatoes.
Baking in the oven
Using a pastry brush, lightly grease a baking dish with a little olive oil and place all the potatoes inside, avoiding overlapping them.
Season the potatoes with a pinch of black pepper, a pinch of fine table salt and a little paprika powder. Line the baking tray with a piece of kitchen aluminum and cook the potatoes in a preheated oven at a temperature of 200°C for five minutes.
Once the first five minutes of cooking have finished, remove the foil and continue cooking for a further twenty minutes or until they are golden. During cooking, you will have to turn the chips over, to obtain even cooking.
Serve on the table
When your chips are cooked, remove them from the oven and transfer them onto a serving plate or into a bowl and serve them while still steaming.
Enjoy your meal!
