Photo of a rare cat born in 2006 with two extra ears (they look more like folding flaps).

13 years ago, the cat of the owner of a bar gave birth to a litter, and the owner of the animal simply did not know where to turn from the “happiness” that fell upon him. Taking advantage of the fact that his establishment was quite popular, the owner began to offer kittens to visitors.

The guests were more interested in one baby than all the others, and began to pass it from hand to hand so that everyone could take a closer look at it. In the end, it was the turn of Valerie and Ted, who were surprised to notice that the kitten had four ears.
Valerie later said that the decision to take the baby home came almost immediately: “Ted and I were left without our pet, who had been with us for 20 years, and thought that we would not take any more kittens. But when the kitten climbed on Ted’s shoulder and fell asleep, we realized that we had no other way out.

The name for the new member of the family was chosen quite quickly: the couple decided to name the pet in honor of one of the heroes of the film “Star Wars” – the Jedi Yoda.

Yoda’s extra ears are attached to the base of his skull, with one slightly behind the other. They are believed to be the result of a cat-safe genetic mutation.

Yoda is a happy house cat, Valerie laughs. The only thing Yoda’s mistress is afraid of is that her unique pet might be stolen. That’s why she asked for the kitten to be microchipped so she would always know where it was.
